We Will Be There, Pray For Us!
Got the bike loaded and we are getting ready to head to Georgia and then Florida for some great ministry opportunities. Please keep us in prayer for divine appointments and traveling mercies.

I was looking through some old files and links from our ministry over the years, I ran across an article that was written about our ministry back in 2009. It touched my heart so and brought back memories of an old biker named “Les” that I am sharing it again. Enjoy this story of how God ordained this man to meet us.
By Christina Quick
In the first quarter of 2009, Assemblies of God U.S. Missions motorcycle chaplains David and Brenda Pantleo of Springfield, Missouri, traversed more than 18,000 miles of highway across six states to take the gospel message to bikers.
The couple says the thought of men and women entering eternity without Christ keeps them rolling.
“God leads us to each individual as we develop relationships with them,” says David Pantleo. “It’s always just at the right time.”
They point to the story of Les, a biker they met in January. They were attending the AG World Missions Summit in Cincinnati when they first heard of him. A nursing home social worker in Crane, Missouri, called about a man with terminal brain cancer who was asking for a minister. The woman explained the patient did not want to see just any minister, however. The former biker requested someone who could understand his lifestyle.
A few days later, the Pantleos met Les, a tattooed man in his late 50s with a tired, weathered face. A picture of his motorcycle hung near his bed.
When the Pantleos introduced themselves as chaplains and mentioned the name of Jesus, Les began to sob.
“He had never been to church, but the Holy Spirit was working on him,” David Pantleo says. “He was struggling with the idea that God could love someone like him. We said, ‘God loves you no matter who you are.’”
When the couple asked Les if he wanted to accept Christ as Savior, he nodded. Tears streamed down the biker’s face as they led him in the sinner’s prayer.
“His whole countenance changed,” David Pantleo says. “His color came back, and he got a big old smile on his face.”
Two weeks later, the social worker called again to say Les had taken a turn for the worse. The Pantleos rushed to see him.
Though he was unable to speak, Les seemed to recognize the chaplains. They held his hand and told him Jesus was waiting to greet him in heaven.
Later that evening, Les died.
“God had set a divine appointment for us to meet this guy who didn’t want to deal with a regular church pastor,” David Pantleo says. “Just because someone has long hair or no hair, piercings, tattoos and wears leather doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t love them.”
The Pantleos have been ministering to bikers for the past six years. Les wasn’t their first deathbed convert. Several years ago, they led a female biker to Christ just hours before she died.
“God leads us to all these souls in the biker world that need to be saved,” Brenda Pantleo says. “Each time, it’s a confirmation that what we’re doing is what God wants us to do.”
Since the article was written, many many more miles have been totaled, more states have been crossed and many more souls have been added to the kingdom. But the memory of Les, encourages to keep doing what we have been called to do. Reach the Bikers of America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Thank you Lord!!

Below is a picture of Biker named Bear. Biker Bear came to the Stone County Outreach today and began talking with me about how God had spared him many times from dying, in war and riding his motorcycle. He stated, ” I had many guardian angels” following me. I began to talk about why God might be sparing his life and why he may have had many close encounters with death. I began to share with him about choices, and why God wanted him to make the right choices for eternity. I then said to him, why don’t you today decide to make the right choice and that right choice was Jesus. He thought for a moment and processed the things we talked about and then I asked him if I could pray with him. As I began praying with him and for him, I asked him if he wanted to make the right choice today and he shook his head yes. Then he repeated the sinners pray with me and gave his life to Jesus.
When we were done, a big smile came on his face. We talked a little bit more and I gave him a Hope For he Highway Motorcycle Bible furnished by Light For The Lost. He gave me a hug and thanked me for being there and off he went. It’s all about Relationships!!
Thank you Jesus for sending your spirit to move in the hearts of those who are seeking truth!

Another great night of raising money for missions and missionaries happen in the Kansas City Section at Pebblecreek Assembly of God. Thank you to all who support Light For The Lost.

“He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.” Isaiah 53:3-4 NIV1984
Brenda and I wish to send a special shout out to all who donate and believe in our ministry. Below is a picture of the food we will be cooking this weekend out an outreach to feed over 200 “Bikers”.

Ministry not only involves trying to reach the lost of the country, but to complete this task involves several phone calls, connections, & meetings to get these things accomplished. This day started off with a meeting at 7am, then had to go to headquarters to get some paper worked straighten out in between being on the phone scheduling and organizing outreaches and services plus trying to squeeze more outreaches and services into the little free time we have this year and also taking the time to take our next issue of our newsletter to the printers. But it is all good! Enjoy staying busy for Jesus.
